About Chef Dwayne
Early Life:
Born in La Jolla California. Father was a US Marine, so we moved all over the country and internationally as children. Went to HS in Beaufort SC.
Young Adult:
After graduating HS joined the Army and served for 4 years. After the Army started working restaurants.
Chef Career:
Started cooking professionally at 23 years old. Quickly worked my way up to Sous Chef at the age of 25. Started culinary school at 25 and graduated at 26 from Johnson and Wales University in the advance standing program. 1 year Internship in France, 5 month internship at Yellowstone National Park for Xanterra Parks and Resorts. Took my first Executive Chef position at the age of 27.

· Auburn University – Campus Executive Chef
· 10 Years in Stadiums and Premium Services – Ole Miss University, Montgomery Biscuits (AA Tampa Bay Rays), Syracuse Chiefs (AAA Washington Nationals), Bowling Green Hot Rods (A KC Royals)
· Corporate Chef for PSC (Professional Sports Catering) a Division Of Levy Restaurants
· Executive Chef – The Wort Hotel, Jackson WY – 4 Diamond Hotel, multi venue, high volume resort town
· Executive Chef and Director Of Dining – The White Buffalo Club, Jackson WY – Upscale, Fine Dining Steak House
· Have worked in multiple states and internationally as a chef.
· Have been suite/premium level chef for 2 Super Bowls and one NCAA national football championship game.
Military Career:
Joined Army at age 18. Ended first term of service at 22. Returned to the Army in 2006. Went to Iraq in 2007 and was wounded in combat in late 2007. Was medically retired in late 2008. Purple heart, bronze star amongst other awards. Am a disable vet.
Personal Life:
Married with 4 kids that are all adults now. We have 5 dogs, 2 cats and live in Alpine WY. We love WY and don’t want to live anywhere else. This is home and always will be. We love the outdoors, the changes in seasons and the people of WY.
